Thanks for having me. I truly enjoy slide work. At home with friends I play resonator, round and square neck. In my band I play guitar and lap steel.

I'm new to slide guitar but I'm loving it already. However, I'm having a hell of a time finding tablature. Any advice?

I've never seen slide tablature myself. The best things you can do are probably a) learn by ear, and b) watch some vids of the guys doing it. Sometimes the videos don't show the guitar player enough, but others show enough to give you a clue about how they're doing it. There are also a lot of "how to play like _______" vids on YouTube.

Hi, I'm 73 and, just got into playing slide. Really enjoying it. So far just open tunings but, looking to getting into regular tuning also. I've been playing guitar since I was 15 but, for some reason just didn't get into playing slide. I think the biggest challenge was just finding the Right slide. I must have been through a dozen or more in the last year and finally settled on a Dunlop 218 glass or a Dunlop 234 glass. I did keep the 318 model just in case. I use it on my middle finger, it just simply works.
